Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Café Rosa (by Kultur&Gut) at Zeisehallen, 7-9 Friedensallee, Hamburg-Altona.

Among other things, attorney Lennart Greiner (VON HAVE FEY) will use the example of a fictional film production — as a follow-up to a previous lecture on AI — to highlight the practical legal issues arising from the use of AI during the typical stages of film production. Based on the specific legal issues encountered by the producers and participating filmmakers in this fictional production, Lennart Greiner will address questions regarding the protectability of the film/work in connection with the engagement of screenwriters and actors, as well as the involvement of various production trades. The relationship with co-producers and distributors will also be examined in this context.

Experienced AI expert Dennis Boleslawski (The Crow, Cliffhanger, Nine Perfect Strangers), who is the Managing Director of the virtual production studio HYPERBOWL and the Chief Creative Technologist at BKLT Germany GmbH, will complement the legal presentation with his expertise in the practical side of international film production. In his role as Virtual Production Supervisor at Studio Penzing, he has contributed to high-profile productions.

There will be ample time for questions and discussion, both during and after the session.
